Hi Mandie and to everyone,

Since we are tracking and counting the number of days it takes for every stages one's application gets into, I'm just wondering whether you are using calendar days or CIO/VO's working days in counting? I'm just new in this forum and I may have somehow missed the post(s) where the counting of days has/have been explained or discussed, as there are thousands and thousands of posts here where more than half I haven't read yet!

Anyways, I'm just as eager and excited as anyone else in this forum to receive the PER, AOR and any other responses that is surefire to make us happy. But as the days go by, the waiting turns into anxiety and stress. It is for this reason that I put forward this clarification. For me, 36 -45 days or any number of days for that matter seems to be an ETERNITY if it's WORKING DAYS assuming the office works only 5-days a week. So if 36 - 45 days are working days and my app received date is May 4, then I should expect a PER between June 22 - July 5 versus June 9 - June 18 if calendar days. Significant difference, is it?

Please clarify.

Thanks.

Actually the days include weekends as well as you can see from the tracker below. Some members reported receiving notification even on weekends. That makes one wonder if CIC works on weekends too. Anyway, 3 May applicants have received PER within 36-37. So tentatively, we should be looking at 36-45 days all things being equal. Mandie
