Hi Hasni,

We submmitted our application last Apr. 30, 2011 & received by CIO May 4, 2011. Visa was received Oct. 18, 2011. So totally it took us 5 months & 18 days that from Apr. 30 to Oct. 18, 2011. :) ;) :D

Hi OJ and Annjay,

Received my GCMS file today. It is a 28 pages files and full of repetitive information. Although I could confirm assessed point from the file; overall, it has made me very confused about the time line. Important points are:

Application Status reason--> In Progress
Recvd Date-->2011/05/09
Recvd Via-->Mail
Category-->SW1-FED
Sub Category-->MI2

Eligibility (Security, Criminality, Medical)-->Not Started
Counterfoil required-->Yes ...................................................What is this????

Eligibility Assessment-->1
Type-->Selection
Status-->Not Started ............................................................See below it has actually started!!!!
Due Date-->06/15/2012 .......................................................What is tthis?

Selection
Total Assessment Point-->72
Status-->Met

Security/Criminality/Medical-->Not Started
Due Date-->2012/06/16 .....................................................Should I expect to have medical call (if any) around this time?

Notes 3:

Based on documentation provided, applicant falls within one of the valid MI2 NOC codes duties performed by PA correspond to lead statement and/or main duties for this NOC. PA appears to have a minimum of at least one year of continuous full time paid work experience in the last 10 years in one or more of the occupations listed in the MI effective June 26, 2010. MI2 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA MET. Docs on file reviewed. Letter of reference related to work experience on file includes information indicating substantial number of main duties of the occupation as set out in the NOC, not verified. Required language results on Education credentials/transcripts reviewed, not verified. Applicant appears to have 67 points or more on selection grid. Visa office for further assessment. Letter emailed to address(es) on file.

Any idea abut anything from this file?

Congraats OJ and Annjay

Wonderful news.

How I wish my application was under Manila VO.

Wish both all the luck and a great future in Canada.

Shami

My application was received by CIO on May 19th 2011 and got RBVO for July 12th 2011 - Buffalo VO, NOC 2153.

I recently got married in Toronto, and am yet to get the marriage certificate. I was wondering: 1. how soon am I supposed to inform CIO/VO about the change in status.
2. what is the best time to add my spouse to the application?

thanks for your help!

cheers!

Get your Marriage Certificate, and Update the CIO/VO Immediately. Rather send them a case specific inquiry of what you have asked here. In that way, you would have informed em and get specific requirement reply too.

Hi OJ and Ann j,

Congrats to both of you, Have a wonderful life ahead in the city of maple leaf.

Indigo,

The only thing I could decipher from it is that the due date is exactly a year from your AOR date, may be by that date all checks and assessments are expected to have been completed.

does London Office sents a post mail for medical request or just an email..
