MAY 2011 Application- Process and Timeline

No Sign of PER/NER yet. It is 43rd day of filing application today. I am losing patience.

Looks like some of us will go beyond the estimated 45 days before we hear from CIC . So far as we have not receieved any vague e-mail which does not confirm whether or not we have PER/NER we shd hope for the best. Good luck to us all! Mandie

it is already day 40 for me ..... and nothing yet .... It seems that our applications for a reason or onther are taking more time for processing ... Hope they will respond soon with positive result for all of us

TO my knowledge there is no news for those who applied after May 10 ..... hope will not take more time to recieve our PER

No one knows what is happening with CIO, one minute it is so fast, taking 26-27days for PERs (in March), and another month forever! The waiting is stressful...but like I said so far as we have not received that dreadful e-mail indicating application has been reviewed and we will be contacted shortly, we shd hope for the best. PER e-mail is pretty much to the point....'your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of......'. These are the words to look out for. I called cio to pass my time and know about the timeline. I was told that they are working on applications till 10 may and told me to wait 3 more weeks, as i applied on 27 may. So i think i should stop checking my mail million times.

I do not know if this is good news or bad .... I am waiting for my PER with no patience . I applied on 20 th of May so according to what they told you I should wait for 2 more weeks ...
But the question is if they are working for those up to 10th of May then why somebody whose application recieved on 11th of MAy got his PER ?????

Make it 11th May as someone whose application was received on the 11th had PER on 21st June. Dont trust all they tell you on the fone, though. Mandie

Harry , my friend , I do not agree with you .... I will keep checking my mail whenver it is possible even If I will wakeup at night for drinking I will check my mail and will never get bored .... PER deserve waiting
