Hi All,

Going through with statement made by Jason kenney on new rules "Effective July 1, 2011, the changes will affect new applicants to the federal Skilled Worker, federal Immigrant Investor and federal Entrepreneur programs. The changes will not affect the number of permanent resident admissions in 2011 in these three categories."

What I understand that the old applications will go hands on with new applications , as he clearly mentioned that the changes will not affect the number of admissions in 2011 for old applications. Correct me if am wrong. Hope from today the process for the old applicantions moves fast.

Hi Guys,

I had sent all my documentation by 1st week of February 2011 to London Office (under FSW category), but still awaiting my 2nd AOR, I understand normally the review process takes around 4 months. I am thinking of writing to the immigration authorities but not sure which email id should I write....which email id can I write to them?? Thanks a lot....

We Need to Understand This

ALL of us in the so called backlog have cleared the CIO Stage so we are not bothered about how Busy they are at This Moment

second our Files are at Local VO where as the New applicants are processed by CIO

In new Priority List VO Is limited to issuing Medical and stamping Visa to the new applicants

They will Be analyzing The Files of Pre june 2010 Applicants

Now The Gist is The Local VO Has our files

We are affected not By how many new files are raised but by how many Visa they plan to issue this year.

I heard its 55000 Files for this year
and assuming 1500 are left from last Year fast track , It is also Understood Not More than 7000 New Applicants are expected this year

we are Left With 46500 Visa for aspirants like us.

The Results of this are already Visible on Most of the Threads .

So Keep The Hopes High and Best Of Luck

DBC

Nice Analysis destinationBC

from where you got that 55K data..

and they are going to accept 10K application or going to issue 10K PR.. that 7K figure will be govern by that.

It is clear that our cases will move (back logs .. I hate that word)

+1 for you

Cheers,

Cheers,

It is 10K applications, not 10K PRs.. 29 skill sets,, with 500 max for each skill and that also to the max of 10000 new applications in total till 30Jun 2012

hi there,

Im in a similar position...i sent all my docs to the London VO on the 3rd Jan 2011, and am still waiting for my 2 AOR - now 7 months later! Hoping it will come through soon, I guess all we need is patience sadly.

Good luck!

Good Analysis DestinationBC,

here is what I am guessing, from the email of London VO, between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010 they received 425,000 applications of which 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision. if they can issue 55,000 in 2011 June to 2012 June then (144,000-55,000)= 89,000 left for 2012 June to 2013 June, so (89,000-55,000) =39,000 will be waiting for 2014. so they wont be able to clear the whole backlog until 2015.

Correct me guys if my calculation was wrong.
