No, not true.......not enough AORs in MAY today but actually a lot of JUNE people got AORs today... .

I am really surprised and frustrated by seeing this...till April everything was smooth and in order and aligned as per the application date...but now everything in CIO seems messed up without any order and going haphazardly.......its totally unfair with us (May applicants who are still waiting for AORs, specially London/Buffalo VO)

Really fed up and frustrated with this clueless kind of wait.....

Is coming Monday/Tuesday holiday in Canada? Does anybody have any idea?

I dont think so. Someone posted the list of holidays and it was marked as holiday.

As Sherry said, we are not able to predict a pattern. Folks from June have started getting AORs (based on June thread).

nevilraval, I don't have any UCI in my AOR. Are you sure that number it's part of the AOR?

Maybe they changed the AOR format meanwhile, I have my AOR since June 14.... I published it on my blog,

catalin_b, I agree with Nevil as my AOR is also having UCI. I think they might have changed format little by adding UCI. Might be Wayne guess for UCI is right.

I received today a notification telling me that my application has been denied.

First of all, while it is disappointing to get a refusal, maybe there is another way.

- The duties I filled in for 0213 were: Web Development Division Head, Web Development Project Manager, Internet Systems Administrator and Servers Manager.

In my humble opinion, it doesn't look like "duties". It looks more like "titles". You can see what the list of main duties looks like at the official NOC website. My guess is, that could be the reason for refusal.

Nevertheless, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

Answering all the questions:

- I received my rejection via email. Also from FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca
- I elaborated a separate sheet in which I stated all the detailed experience in my area (0213). I even attached several job offers from Toronto which I couldn't accept because I wasn't a Canadian resident.
- I had 3 but less than 4 years of experience in the area (0213).
- The duties I filled in for 0213 were: Web Development Division Head, Web Development Project Manager, Internet Systems Administrator and Servers Manager.
- I also added another extra NOC to my app (2175), as Web Developer with 4 or more years of experience with the following duties: e-Business Website Developer, e-Commerce Website Developer, PHP & MySQL Developer, Web Designer, Webmaster.

The agent just didn't feel that I had enough experience in 0213, which is actually true. I am not a Systems Manager, I am an experienced web developer. I've been manager of 2 companies, and I currently own a company, but specifically focused on web development.

In my opinion, they first check if the application is complete, then they charge the credit cards, and finally they verify all the details. I believe that the person reviewing the application must be an expert in the area, so he/she can know if the work experience is real and actually related to the NOC code.

Hi Heritz,

sorry to hear your development. we all are now nervous about our application.

It looks to me that the list of your duties were not properly written/explained in the application. 'Web Dev Division Head' sounds like a job title and what did you do or what you were required to do in that position?? that should have been described as 'duties' you are carrying out. if you check the NOC details in CIC website you will find details about that. For example in my case as 4121 assistant prof -university my duties include, preparing and giving class lectures, advising students, submitting grades etc etc. I my job contact given by the uni, there is a list duties i am supposed to perform in my position as asst prof. i copied that section as additional information. i hope that will be ok for a positive evaluation!!!

i think your application is rejected on on the ground of not explaining duties though you have sufficient experience. Try other available options.

This is exactly what I tried to explain in Heritz's case?? It's really sad to get rejected for a small mistake. If you use a consultant they should have know this better than us! in Heriz's can i believe his consultant let him down. I think CIC website is very informative in terms of giving step-by-step guide on how to fill up the form. so everyone should consult the guideline themselves instead fully relying on the consultant? sometimes they are lazy or not serious about the client!!! It's just my personal opinion.

thanks
