I have put wrong noc code in the application.
Will it be fine to send the page to cic with correct noc code . Since my app reached noc on 9 June which is not opened yet.

I don't want miss this oppurtunity as the waiting times are quite long.
Is it only applied for cc payment only ???

Anyone has success sending corrections , changes to initial applications before cc charged/ 1st aor sent

I think you can send the corrected form immediately, and put "Urgent" mark on it. As you can see from CIC website, they are working on applications received till 10th Jun.

Remember to include your personal details as much as possible so they can easily identify your case.

As majid89 recomended me, I e mailed the minister, I ask why we don't get the 30 days rule to send a new method of payment NO answer yet I ll keep you up dated. It is hard to give up.
Did your NOC stay on the list or not? How come you have sent your papers again? or just the payment?

well done.
I think everybody with returned application for minor errors should do the same.

hi all,

I m May 10 th applicant! i have called my bank ....since mine is a DD pay mode...they told me still my
DD is not yet charged....
Still wondering how long DD guys have to wait !

Yes I did call the CIO

The lady answered my call said my application was received on May 10 and they are still on their application verification phase.

She didnt say anything about my DD receipt or the AOR. She only said all the qualified applicants will get a responsble from the CIO office after they verify the application and then sent to the local visa office futher proceedings.

Is there anyone had any problen on cashing the DD. I have read many concerns regarding the credit card issues and would like to know anybody had any troubles with their DD's.

I am also planning to complain to the minister if they deny me based on failed CC charges. We all should have the fair ground. Please do let us know when you get a response.

My NOC is not at the list anymore. I got an email from my bank that they have observed some irregular activities (not CIO) on my car and needed to block the card. They later sent me a new card. I then called the CIO customer services on 2nd July (right after i got the notification from Bank on 1st July) and the agent told me that CIO would contact me if payment fails to update them with a new one and requested me to just wait. When after waiting for so long and not hearing anything from them, i called them back again on 13th August and that time the agent was saying they are not honoring 30 days rule anymore and if the payment is not through, then they would reject the application - which totally contradicts their earlier statements and practice. However, the lady agent suggested me that i should send CIO a mail with new updated Fee Pyament FOrm and having a "URGENT" stamped on the top of the envelop. She also mentioned that it is not a norm to accept such way, but they might consider since they have changed the rule recently.

I sent out whatever they asked me along with the email copy taht had received from the bank in two hours after that and it has reached there on 18th. I called them yesterday to check on if they have updated my payment form but they could not verify the outcome and the lady is little rude by repeatedly telling that they are working on May 3rd application and cannot tell anything more than that.

Take it easy my friend. I experienced the same situation as yours. I sent a new payment form to CIO to correct the previous one, and this way worked. My CC was charged on 17th Aug. When I called CIC call centre at a later day, they confirmed there was a note in the system saying that I would like to change the payment form, so they would pay attention to any seperate payment form for my case. They can not verified the condition of your case at this moment since it has not been in the system yet, but that also does not mean your information was not updated. Let's wait several days to see the result.

Thanks brandburg. I hope my case follow the same route as yours. I was really worried when the agent said she couldnt confirm me if the new payment form is updated with the application. But looks like we have to give them some time to have my application in the system. However, my application turn in date is 11th May. but still why it was not entered to the system if i do qualify after the assesment. Well, guess i will just hold my breath little longer.

need advice urgently. i had send my form to canada on may 26th. i recieved a call from the bank today that my CC transfer was rejected because the CVC number being entered by the CIO is incorrect. this is very confusing because i had never sent the CVC number (the trhee digit number at the back of the card) i check the form and there is no requirement to send the CVC number ther. unless i am mistaken.

they have already tried to charge it twice on the 17th and the 19th but it failed. can someone help me contact them urgently and give them my correct CVC number.

also if this fails can i send them a DD??

There is no CVC number required for the transaction. I think you need to talk with the bank and have a preauthorized arrangement with them to accept the amount that would be charged by CIO.

i did try explaining this to the bank but they just wont admit that this internet transaction can happen without a CVV code. is there an email of CIO where i can send the CVV code. or a number i can call.
