please let me know whether the original contract papers shoulb be natarized or not before sending them to vo.zerox copies we are definitely notarize.also can we send all papers to vo before getting the aor just on getting to know that cc has been cleared just to make processing faster.thanks

CHC need the immigration file no for your documents which you get in first AOR from CIC.

Original are not required notarization.

You also need to mention your first AOR number(print out of the email you get from CIC) on the covering letter you attach with your full docs.

Do you think CIC has a roughtly review our application before deduction of money? If so, I post my application on 12th May, do you thinking they have checked already for the first round?

hopefully your application crosed first obstical as
two to three applicants of May one was of 8 th may and other was of 12th got there appliications back
mentioning missing fields
and i personally feel that in comming 10 days you will also get notice from you bank regarding deduction of money

as far as i know
only photo copies are required to be notrized
no need to notrized the oridgnal
you can not send any paper to VO as you dont have any reference no
My docuemnts and final application is now 100 % complete and ready to be submitted
but i am waiting for my AOR
once i will get my AOR i will use that mail as covering letter and send it to VO
even CC has been charged i dont have any proof or receipt (from CIC) of money transfer
AOR also contains the receipt of money deduction which you have to submit along with your application

Re: to many family names in Latinamerica!

I'm a May 2010 who's application was rejected due to an error in the family name of my wife; which shows 2 (two) last names intead of 1 (one) as it's normal in all Latinamerican contries, what i did was to write the 2 (two) surnames like it shows on her passport, but apparently the officer only wants one as it's customary in english spoken countries, but if i do that then the information on my wife would be incomplete. Has anybody dealt with this issue before?, it would be greatly appreciated.

How did you know about your application's rejection, through regular mail or email? which date exactly was your application Received by CIO?

I submitted my papers May 25th under FSW, never received anything back yet. I'm getting married to a Canadian citizen on the 1st week of October 2010. Should I cancel my application? or pursuit it? Which one will be easier for me/us? Thank you!

Is it so that the sooner we file the full docs. to VO,the chances of process is faster?!! what i think is we have to submit the papers in 120 days and remaining procedures will be strted after 120 days only.Is it possible that if we submit the doc early, chances to get 2nd AOR and further process becomes fast?!!

Hi,

If you send your application early they will start working on it before 120 days expires, so better to get your documents sent ASAP.

it is only becz of april blog becz i m regular reader of april blog and predict accordingly
best of luck of your IELTS and
i will suggest you to appear in it as soon as possible becz you will get date of ielts might be after 3 to 4 wk and
you will get ur result again in next 2 wks so if u register today u will loose 50 days and you will be having only 120 days

so be careful

most difficult thing is to wait
and 88 days were very long
and can imagine your situation as i was in it few days back
but deduction gave me big releive
