Hi mave,

I had send the updated documents on 30th April. It is not necessary to get the address update on E-case.

Then they asked me to confirm whether this address is of employer....and then send the final email as below:-

Dear Madam / Sir,

We have received your request with your new address, and the information has been updated to reflect your new contact details. Note that the change of address made by our office may not be reflected on E-Case. Also note that we will not confirm receipt of fax/ mail/ email received at this office but your file will be updated.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post to the applicant at the mailing address provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

Yours sincerely,

This is a question for those whose status got changed to Decision Made before getting Medical / PCC / additional documents - Has anyone received positive letter after getting Decision Made status ?? Or the given situation is for sure a rejection ?

Hi,

Decision made without medical is sure a rejection except a error in E-case status.

If you have recieved a letter for rejection (DM without medical) , its 100% rejection.

Regards
Cool

Hello All,

My status is In process but the weird thing is that, before it was

Your application and supporting documents were received by Buffalo VO. They are pending review.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on XXXX.

and now it is:

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on XXXX.

Has anyone have such experience?
Thank you

April 17, 2012, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada's immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application. These changes would help ensure that immigrants are chosen based on Canada's current needs and priorities.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/releases/2012/2012-04-17.asp

Now category wise queue is a new queue system. In which category in demand will process first. I find out why they send letter to pre-june 2010 for wait 1 year, 2 year etc. There are lot of applicant in pre-june 2010 according to VO letter 144000 applicants did not receive any final decision. For example NOC 4131 status in Canadian Occupational Projection System graph.
http://www23.hrsdc.gc.ca/occupationsummarydetail.jsp?&tid=57
Projection of Cumulative Job Openings and Job Seekers over the Period of 2011-2020
Level Share
Expansion Demand: 10,922 21%
Retirements: 34,444 68%
Other Replacement Demand: 4,104 8%
Emigration: 1,505 3%
Projected Job Openings: 50,975 100%

Level Share
School Leavers: 21,802 64%
Immigration: 5,406 16%
Net Mobility 6,789 20%
Projected Job Seekers: 33,997 100%
They are selecting 5406(16% share in projected job seekers) applicants in next 9 years from NOC 4131.
Per year projection is 600 applicants and this is near about cap 500 of applications. The another thing which impact on immigration system is visa quota per year. So overall if they create new category wise queue system and priority first in first out and if this new rule apply on pre-june 2010.
New rule benefit is pre-june 2010 case process first then new case in same category. Loss is that there are lot of applicants so wait is long. So there are no chance to add old NOC under process in new 2012 list on 5 july. One another thing visa quota can give advantage to pre-june 2010.
Visa quota this year is 57000. So if this quota can not achieve from priority applicants then this may be achieve from pre-june 2010 applicants. This is the reason why they are not processing fast pre-june 2010 application.
Formule for estimate time according to new proposed rule :- How much time will take to process an application?
Start Queue Index + Applicant Queue Index / 500(Cap on Category) = Years

Hope they will process our application soon.

What's the different between using first number file or second one? I always thought the first one for CIC access and the second one is for VISA Office access!

Hi All,
My status changed to "inprocess" as of 16th May 2012. Got the update today...I am 3152 General Nurse, Applied on May 10th 2010 and Got my second AOR from London VO as of June 23rd 2011. Hope this will be a welcome relief for all applied with London VO in may 2010. Could Somebody tell me how long will it take for the medicals & the whole process to finish..

Dear friends,
we are getting so many different type of news from among all of us who have been a part of this forum for the last 2 years. Some come up with good news and some bad, and others just have questions to which all of us have tried to answer very selflessly. But we never heard from our friends back who got "decision made" and we, very obviously, assumed that those were the unfortunate ones and got rejected. But still the reasons and all the later communications from VO were never revealed.
So I request all of our friends to post a little more information. I know its not easy but if you could spend just 2 more mins, that might help a lot many other friends here.
