* are CAIPS and GCMS one and the same?
* and do I send the above request to New Delhi VO or Canada?
Completed forms must be sent to the following address:
Access to Information and Privacy Coordinator
360 Laurier Avenue West, Office NAR B1036
Ottawa, ON K1A 1L1

There is a difference in CAIPS and GCMS and you can order whatever you like but GCMS is readable but CAIPS has some codes I believe

for those who have applied to London visa office,
the London office website states about the time line:
"Skilled Worker applications received after February 27, 2008: Because these applications are affected by new regulations, an average processing time is currently not available. Do not contact us for case status enquiries within 9-12 months of submitting your application"

source: canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx

this could be good news for pre june-2010 applicants as expected times could be reduced.

That's great news. The applicants who submitted documents in June-10 & July-10 are still waiting, and a person who submitted documents in Oct-10, get MR. That's great luck also. What is his visa office & NOC?

As I mentioned in my post his VO is Buffalo and he got his 2nd file number on Oct. 2010 (he sent his full documents on May 2010 to Buffalo)
He is a student (FSW3) in Canada.

its not good news now london processing time is 23 months for pre june 2010. :(
And this is the time that they have taken in the past to process the applications. In future how much time they will take, is very much uncertain and to certain extent unpredictable.
