hi everyone,
can i show oversease ID card as proof of relationship bcoz my brother in canada doesnt have birth certificate.
is it really mendatory to provide birth certificate as proof of relationship?

My boss has got no complimentary card and i was to attach it to my reference letter as requested by CHC.Can i attached a notorized copy of his ID card

my application will be 120 days on sept 4. i havent recieved anything yet. i dont even know if the money was accepted because it was a certified check issued by the lawyer. even my lawyer dont know anything. he just told me that it could be becuase of the new regulation. i dont blame him not knowing the answer. i feel like if nothing happens this week or before the 120 days...im screwed. need your opinion people.

Don't worry, call CIC @ 1-888-242‑2100 (if you are in Canada) or 16139444000 (if you are outside Canada) and inquire about your application progress. Also ask for your Client id so that you can check your status online. Hope this helps and wish you will hear some thing good soon. All the best.

Dear All,

I have a question regarding POF.I need to show @ 48500 AED = 14000 CAD but i have @ 20000 AED and rest i am getting from my father from India.Will the sudden increase in the bank affect the procedure?
what i am thinking is that i can keep the fund for the month of sept.oct & Nov and then i can get the bank certi in the month of decemeber & can send the full docs in decemeber.also i can attach the bank statement of last two months i.e.oct & Nov.Is that ok??!!

You are welcome alisa768 I know, the entire process looks to be slowing down. That's why I am trying to keep the hope and just collecting the required documents for the next phase. That's the best we can do I guess :

All you have to do is make sure your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO. If by any chance CHC needs a new one, they will ask for one and give you time to get it, but will not hold it against you. Dont worry about it expiring.

1.I sent my initial application in March
2.Applied for PCC in April.
3.Received my PCC in early May.
4.My application was returned for a blank field in mid of May.
5.Sent completed application again at the End of May.
6.CC charged in mid of Aug

Do I need to get another PCC?

No. It is valid for 12 Months from the date of issue.Just consult the website.
