Maternity and Parental EI and left the country but did not inform them 2010

hello.

I left the country when I was on parental leave for about 5 months, anyway I was clearly told that I could leave the country on parental leave and still get paid the only mistake I made was not informing them my question is will that affect my citizenship application since I didn't inform them and left the country and received EI.

I am sure that is not a criminal act and as such would not affect your citizenship application.
