Masters in Construction Management

I plan to enroll in a Canadian university this year for Masters in construction management so I started an internship with a construction consultancy a year ago till date to give me work experience which would improve my chances of admission. My question is, would i be considered for admission although i offered Linguistics as my first degree with GPA of 2.75. If not, how best could i approach this situation.
Please help me.

Yes it may be very difficult to get approved given that your course of study does not make sense. Do you have a construction background. Are you sure it is a university masters program and not a college program?

The background i have in construction is working in a construction consultancy for more than a year, and managing little projects personally starting from 2017. Actually, i never wanted to build my career in Linguistics, I did it because i couldn't change my program in the university so i planned to diversify my program for my masters.

what universities offer this program. Maybe one of the universities ending in IT. Do you meet the prerequisites for these masters programs?
