Hi,

I was interested in knowing what all MS programs can a non-CS bachelor (with about 2 years of experience at a fortune 500 company) do in order to make a career in CS in Canada?

Basically I had applied for MSc in Computer Science last year and all the universities rejected citing a deficient computer science background (unlike US). So now I wanna apply again to Computer Science programs and was wanting to know how could I get in an Admission?

There are courses like MASc which are more industry oriented, would they entertain non-CS Students?

And more importantly, which Universities have such intakes? In order of ranking / reputation...

From your other posts, I can see that you have completed your master's in canada.
Did you do your master's in computer science?
Please share your application experience.

I have a similar profile as you. Undergrad is non-CS. Work EX is CS related. Want to apply for MS CS.

As much as I know, one has to be atleast with basics CS technical background for applying for MS or at least should have completed graduation.

Hi,

Will the VO consider work experience(say 2+ years in software development) as relevant for someone from non-CS degree, with software Eng admission offer from University?
