Hello everyone!
I posted this question on another board but didn't receive an answer so I thought I'd try here. Sorry if it's not the right place for this question, but maybe someone can answer anyway.
What would be the issues/problems with my marrying a US citizen, but living in Canada while he still lived in the states? Is it even legal? Right now it would be impossible for me to move down there and he can't move here due to other reasons.
If I were to go down there and just marry out of the blue and then come back to Canada to live until a later date (a good few years because of my children) what problems would we face legally from the marriage? Would I still be able to enter the US (always by flight) to visit him after the marriage has been filed?
Thanks for anyone who can help answer. I know it's a bit odd
