What is CPP-O ??? & yes She is allowed to stay lawfully in the US for atleast 2 years ... & yes she has everything that any legal person has ... social security number.. State ID .. Work permit ...

& to the last persons response it was six months unfortunately

So if our case goes there & she's called for an interview does she still have to go to Islamabad or does that get waived since the case would be in Ottawa

If an interview was required, it would be scheduled in Islamabad.

I think OhCanada's point is a good one - she's lawfully permitted to remain in the US. But it is a grey area. If CPP-O processes her application, an interview would be done in the US if necessary.

Include her current documents that show she is legally present in the US and request CPP-O on the application. A CIC officer could force the issue, but odds are with that level of paperwork they are more likely to just send it to Ottawa.

Good luck!

Yes I too agree..... Because since she is lawfully or legally allowed to stay for atleast 2 years & no one can deport her either.... & has been given everything that a normal US national would that has a Status. So I think we can fight her case showing all the documents that the us has granted her a lawful & legal stay for more than one year.
