Hello,
I received my eCOPR inland after applying for PR through express entry. I am waiting to receive my PR card and I am currently in Canada. I am getting married to a Canadian citizen in 3 weeks. Could you advise me whether it is still necessary to inform IRCC about my change in marital status? and what the consequences are if I do/do not inform them? @legalfalcon

Thanks,

Thanks,

If you have a e-COPR, you are a PR. Your application is processed and closed. Any changes post becoming a PR are not material, since you are now already a PR and will not impact your application.

Congratulations!

As reply above, you have became a PR. There is nothing to update IRCC when a PR is getting married to a citizen.
