Hi, I'm planning to get married with my boyfriend, I have a tourist visa and we are planning to go to the United States in the next month. So we are worried about my return to Canada and the questions of immigrations with my new marriage . Would it be better to get married before or after our US trip on my tourist Visa. My boyfriend is a Canadian and I'm from latinoamerica.

We are already living together and we want to know wicW is the better time to get married, we are afraid to get troubles in immigration trying to come as a tourist again.

I honestly dont think the marriage will have any bearing before Youd face the same scrutiny coming across either way. After id say youll have a harder time as they may think you wont leave unless you declare dual intent (planning to stay to apply for spousal sponsorship). I think either eay youll be questioned. My husband left for three months came back and they questioned him and searched him just the same. We were married two months after that
