I just posted this post in a wrong section and got some replies, just wondering if anyone else has any ideas on this.
My partner and I got married last week and I just got a visitor extension approval letter a few days ago, after we got married. We were told we should have updated straight away, but if we notify IRCC how will it affect my approval? Will they reassess my approval? (in the initial application we did not mention anything about getting married)
P.S. We have updated IRCC now
P.P.S. my wife is PR applicant, should she update IRCC now too or wait until we receive the marriage certificate. We were told we would be given 30 days to upload all the documents, but we might not receive the certificate by then
