I am a US citizen, living in Canada for more than two years on a working visa. I have got married to Canadian recently before three months ago. And we both like to stay in Canada, I like to clarify my confusion. Do I become a Canadian citizen marring a Canadian ? Do I need to apply for a Canadian citizenship?

No. Your wife can sponsor you for PR.

Agreed with the above. Your wife has to sponsor you for permanent residency first. Once you have permanent residency and have lived in Canada long enough to meet the citizenship residency requirement (4 out of 6 years living in Canada) - you can then apply for citizenship. There is no direct path to citizenship just because you've married a Canadian.
