Hello.
Please help me.

I'm 29 years old guy from India, New Delhi. I got married to a girl from Canada. She is a student there in Canada. She came to India and got married to me. During this whole process she took a lot of money from us including her college fees, jewllery, cash and also she she did a lot of shopping on our expenses. Vefore and after marriage she was living with my family (Paternal uncle, aunt, their two children and my grand mother)in canada. Now after doing this money fraud she is asking for 25 lakh rupees to sponsor me for Canada and her family is the mastermind of all this. Now she left me and staying with her family in Punjab, Moga. She is asking me for divorce or pay 25 lakh rupees. She ruined my life just for the sake of money. I said to her that I dont wana come to Canada and asked her that we can live here in India happily but she refused whereas she agreed to it before marriage. Her parents got Canadian 10 years multiple visa recently. They also stayed in my uncle's house there in Canada for 2-3 months without paying anything.

They would have reported a false statement or would have filed a false case against me to get more and more money from me but they are afraid of getting reported to Canadian Immigration about their fraud and they know if they'll get reported then they'll have issues visiting Canada again. Their plan is to settle there and they want her daughter to marry a person from India who can pay them 25-30 lakh rupees to get Canadian visa.

Please Help me. I'm going through depression. Please let me know what I can do next.

Thank you.

A Marriage of Convenience would be you using her to come to Canada. This is a personal matter, not an immigration issue.

Thanks for replying.

May be you are right but they are asking me for 25 lakh rupees to sponsor me for Canada. They're trying to use their Canadian visa to earn money and for sure they'll call someone to Canada in future to get money from them. They're misusing their Canadian visa rights.

You failed to mention that in your original unedited post. If you have proof, report it. Otherwise, divorce and move on with life.

What all proofs u need apart from marriage photographs ?
Please let me know so that I can start working on it to expose them as they spoiled my life.

You need proof that they have tried to extract money from you. If you don't have proof, then there is nothing you can really do.

Thanks for the information. One more thing I would like to include that I've already reported it to the Police and I've the copy of that if that can help.

Thanks again for your help.

As said above, IRCC will want to see hard proof that money was requested in exchange for immigration.

1. Is she in Canada or in Punjab?

2. If she is a student, what type of sponsorship is she referring to?

3. Her parents cannot stay indefinitely/settle in Canada if they have visitor visas/TRVs

4. Do you have evidence for her monetary demands + that you/your family have paid for her college fees?
