If I get married in the US as a dual citizen, is it recognized in Canada? (I know that if I get married in Canada it is recognized by the US, but I couldn't find anything from the other direction.)

Yes

If you get married more or less anywhere in the world provided you are there in person, are not already married, your spouse is not already married, and you get a marriage certificate, it is recognized in Canada.

As long as it is legal where it was performed and doesn't violate any Canadian marriage laws, it will be recognized.
