Goodday to you all,
please i would like to know what my immigration status will become if i should get engaged or get married to a Canadian citizen or Permanet residence........will i become a citizen as well?

Your status won't change just by getting married or engaged.

To become a PR, you must be sponsor by your spouse.

To qualify for citizenship, you must first get PR and then live in Canada for three out of four years to qualify to apply.

If you marry a Canadian you will are just a tourist. Look at my signature what you can do while being a tourist here. However the only real thing you get is a bigger change to extend your Visa if you tell CiC that you need time to prepare your sponsorship application and prefer to stay with your partner. You can normally get a 12 months or 6 months extension.

PR due to marriage is changed recently.For two yrs you will be got CONDITIONAL PR after that if every thing is ok in marital relation than ur PR will be confirmed otherwise back to pavilion

Not true, CONDITIONAL PR is not implemented as of today.
