Marriage certificate

My husband has misplaced it and now we need a replacement copy. I am unable to contact him at this time so no help there. We were married in Cambodia but I'm hoping I don't have to travel there again. I think I read somewhere both husband and wife are to be present to request another marriage certificate.

Yes, no idea where it is. It wasn't in the place we thought we had left it.

I think you(or your friend in the country) could ask the regional authority(place where you registered your marriage) to reissue the certifed copy because they have all your info there. It's hard to get them to reissue the new original copy.
