Hello people,

I live in Canada and am applying for my wife's sponsorship to come here. We recently got married in the UAE and the UAE authorities have issues us a marriage certificate. Its in Arabic. We have gotten a certified English translation and the document has been attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I am wondering is there additional attestation required for the document. For e.g., do we need to have it certified by the Pakistan Consulate (owner of a Pakistani passport).

Please advise.

Thanks

No, as long as you have the marriage cert. translated by a certified translator then you are fine.

Can somebody please shed some light on this?

Do we have to attest the arabic and english by the Ministry of Foreign affairs?
