Marital Status - Legally Separated

This was my first marriage and I am undergoing my Divorce and will take another 6-8 months for closure. What should I reply for the question - Have you been previously married or not? Yes or No. Is Yes to be put only in case for multiple marriages?
Post putting Yes it further asks for relationship end date, but it cannot be confirmed for Separated as the Divorce is pending. Pls suggest.

Legally Separated doesn't mean marriage has ended. Until you are divorce, you are still technically married
