Hi all,

Excuse me if there is already enough info shared on this matter, I seem to have really hard time finding answer for my case which I thought it's quite simple, so here it is.

My partner sponsored me to get PR as common law and the application(inland) was submitted last year and it has been in processing since April, 2016.
I also got my work permit in the meantime.

Then, we got married this January 2017. I know that I need to inform CIC asap. However, I can't find a way to do so.
I've used IRCC web form enquiry already and I haven't heard anything back yet, which I believe it's been almost a month..
So, I'm worried now as we're flying out to my country for another wedding ceremony this May and I want to make sure I update all my profile before going through the immigration.

Could anybody please please help me on this?

So, my question is,
How can I inform CIC/update my file my marital status change while my PR application is in processing?

Thank you very much in advance!!

If you have your file linked to an online account, could you not just upload a scanned letter explaining and a copy of your marriage certificate?

I tried to link my application online but it doesn't show up yet for some reason. I only got to link work permit application which I applied with my PR at the same time.

Why are you worried? It makes no difference for clearing immigration when you return to Canada.

You have already updated them by sending the Web form.

They rarely reply that they got your update. I sent them letters through webform in my PR application for updates, and they never responded, while updates were reflected on the GCMS notes
