My timeline so far is

Application received: October 9th 2014
AOR and Study Book: December 2nd 2014
Application started processing: December 16th 2014
Transfer to local office: January 20th 2015

From the CIC website, " Check your application status", enter your information, and the date will show up once your file is transferred to the local office

hey funkytown, not everyone will be able to see that line on ecas. I believe that is a new addition in the ecas. only newwe applicants will be able to see that line. I am not able to see that. I have applied in Oct 2013 and my wife is not able to see that either, she applied april 2014...

old applicant will only be able to know that if they call and inquire cic.

A March 2014 applicant here (applied end Jan, processing begun early March).

Got a letter to appear for the citizenship test in the mail. Test date is April 29th. E-cas also updated, not sure when. Haven't checked since last month.

Anyway, keep your eyes open people and good luck to you!
