I think the information in the P1 email is probably processed automatically, and the PR Portal email is likely sent automatically as well, since it doesn't make sense for them to be working on Civic Holiday.

You are waiting in line for your turn to either receive P1 to confirm you are in Canada or COPR if you have indicated you are abroad. If you weren’t monitoring your file so carefully you may not have realized your application had received final decision until you got COPR or eCOPR. The final decision on your file is primarily for IRCC staff not for you.
