GCMS notes ordered about 10 days ago. Wife received hers today. Grant clearance pending with security clearance page redacted. Clearance request(s) read : RCMP, {redacted} Y. So suggests CSIS is in there. Criminality cleared though. Bunch of dates here and there - otherwise everything looks normal and as expected.
My GCMS are yet to come.

My GCMS notes arrived today. My request to seperate files was declined as partner is awaiting prohibitions. My file reads Grant awaiting group members. So basically stuck with partner . Didnt bother thru the rest of the document.
Should i be looking at somewhere specific for dates in these notes? Something that would indicate a possible deadline, due date, etc...?

I'm sure that there may be cases where you can get something useful, but as far as I'm aware (having rec'd one gcms notes recently, an update on a previous):
-you may find with respect to some clearance or step "bring forward date" or due date (the latter at least you can see in a spot where 'application assignment' is a subheading.)
-Unfortunately as best as I can tell - that may just be a date for the person handling the file in IRCC to check if the assessments done by others are complete. And if that date ticks by, it just resets to some later date (eg a couple months). I presume that officer has to actually check something before resetting it, but if what they're checking is not in their control (eg security checks), I don't know that it leads to anything more.

Finally got GCMS notes that was applied using ATIP.

under location it says grant: RAU. Does anyone know what it means? Is it Risk assessment unit?

Underclearance it now says both security and criminality clearance passed. CIT CSIS screening says no reportable trace.
In the tracker it shows background verification is completed and LPP in progress.

Looking at the experiences of previous applicants who encountered prolonged background checks, it seems possible that our applications could also drag into 2027.

today marked 13 months from my AOR! what's really going on??? is this going to take +24 months?

Same here, or maybe worst, going to complete 14 months since AOR on May 12th, no updates so far since the knowledge test was marked completed. For me I believe its useless/total waste of time to call IRCC or apply for a gcms notes for an update, nothing is going to provide complete details... Frustration 2.0

Actually processing time increased back to 13 from 12. Total applications went up but of course applications before March applicants went down by 5k or so (this number can only go down). If we assume that this decrease stays flat at 5k per month (which is surely not the case), we can have an assumption that our files would be cleared in 9 months at maximum. By the way i am not sure how ircc calculates remaining months. For instance Nov 2024 applicants, it says one month left! How is that even possible when the current processing time is 13 months!

Last month, there were fully five month-cohorts listed as two months remaining, which is of course impossible.

All I can say is that it's quite incoherent. There's clearly some assumption plugged in there that makes no sense.
