Online Application (family).
Location: Vancouver
AOR 13 March 2025
Test invite 18 March 2025
Test update 12 May 2025
Physical presence completed - 13 Dec
Language Skill completed - 13 Dec
Background verification completed - 23 Dec (only Prohibitions was in-progress)
Prohibitions completed - 29 Dec but Background verification moved back to in-progress.

For my wife, except for the Citizenship ceremony, everything else is completed.


Does anybody have a similar experience where Background verification was completed but moved back to in-progress?

I just got back reply for GCMS notes I applied to.

It says LPP is still not started, and it is assigned to RC-8090 with a due date of 20/04/2026 (AOR Apr 28th 2025)
IT says LPP is still not started.
It been 7 months since my background verification was completed , and stuck at LPP stage ever since.

Anyone aware how long of a wait this would be?

Happy to share my final timeline. Excited to become a Canadian citizen!

To those still waiting - wishing you all a speedy process. Apart from waiting, consider submitting a webform or requesting ATIP notes - it did seem there is some causal relation, as my application (esp Background) got cleared after I submitted ATIP though there is no confirmation for sure.

I dont know which offices as ATIP notes are still awaited!
