LPP : Waiting

Have to leave the country for the winter (next week) for personal reasons. Would have to be away for 3 months.

I see once LPP is done, it takes only a few days/weeks to get oath invite (best case).
Question to experts:
1. Would they schedule the oath if I am outside the country?
2. Will I be able to return for a few weeks to get the oath completed with, and then travel back to attend to my personal work. (i could do that with small disruption to my personal work, and that's ok with me) ?

What is the best way to handle this?

What does that mean in the GCMS note?

Shared my thoughts one post earlier. We believe its wifi issue, laptop disconnected from home wifi and she connected the laptop to mobile hotspot

It definitely seems like a Wi-Fi connectivity globe router login issue rather than a laptop problem.
Try restarting both the router and laptop, then reconnect by forgetting and re-adding the network. If that doesn’t help, check for router firmware updates, interference from nearby devices, or DHCP settings that might be blocking the connection.

Any updates from our Montreal friends?

LPP still waiting here
What are the chances that our applications are already complete and just waiting for someone to hit “submit”? I’ve seen several posts on forums — and even heard from a friend — that sometimes files fall through the cracks and only need a small nudge to move forward.

Then lets hope we get that nudge soon hahaha

As strange as it sounds, I read on a fb page that someone sent a webform to IRCC just to request changing their preference from a virtual to an in-person ceremony, before even being scheduled for the oath. It seemd to be a pretty casual request (not sure if its even legit because I dont think you can even have a preference). This person applied in March 2025 like us and had heard nothing since June. Two days after sending the webform, they received a generic acknowledgment saying their file was within normal processing time, but their LPP was cleared the exact same day. After four months of silence, that can’t just be a coincidence.

It will forever be a mystery. I am so intrigued by how things work behind the scenes
