it looks like after BG is done , we will have to wait another month or two for LPP. I just checked the Feb applicants, only a fraction of them had their LPP done ...

I got my fingerprints done on 2 May. Called IRCC last week to check if they have received them from RCMP. They said RCMP hasn’t sent them yet. Called RCMP today. They mailed it on May 8th.

Can I do something?

it looks like after BG is done , we will have to wait another month or two for LPP. I just checked the Feb applicants, only a fraction of them had their LPP done ...

Looks like some March applicants that wrote their test in May are getting their LLP completed and received their oath invitation. Hopefully we are not far away from completion.

Wrote the test May 31 and it was updated in the tracker today June 10. My background was cleared June 2. Now waiting for LPP to be cleared

Strangely though, wife who is in my group, only got a ghost update. Her background is still in progress.

I also ask a question. Whats the difference between background check and prohibitions? More specifically in which of the 2 is the police certificate used? I ask because there was a question from IRCC on my police certificate and I want to know if it was already satisfied (as the bg is complete) or still pending (i.e in the prohibitions)
