My App is in Background check, it is almost 5 months after PAL.

I checked with all offices, those who issues my documents i.e Nikha office, HR department of my Company, University, Banks, local Police office, Friends who gave letters etc but IRCC or any other never contacted them to verify my Documents,

WHAT TYPE OF BACKGROUND CHECK IRCC IS DOING?

Have you contacted them recently and if you did what was their response?
Did you try your MP, they could influence it a bit. Some MP's are quite helpful.

Oh okay sorry to hear about that, let's hope it would be over soon with the afghan crisis. Hopefully very soon.

Has anyone Outland used portal for confirmation while still living Outland?

Update: virtual landing doesn't work if not in Canada. The first question they ask is a check box confirming you swear that you are in Canada.
So I guess I will wait for PPR now

Anyone still awaiting medical request? My Application was received May 2020 had an issue with my spouse who is the sponsor it was sorted out in Jan 2021...it has been saying in process since but no medical request
