quick question, my wife received an asking email asking her to complete the online Citizen ship test within 20 days. Can this test be completed anytime of the day within these 2 days? do just click on the link, input your details and begin the test?

Same here. March 2020 applicant. Background check completed Jan 2021 and nothing since then. I have requested GCMS notes and sent web inquiries multiple times. Nothing has moved on the application though. Any inputs on how to follow up on this?

I got my PR card renewed and received that quickly which eased some stress. But I'd still like to see some progress on the Citizenship application.

I am in the exact situation/timeline. I have contacted them using the web form, got generic reply back after few weeks. I am located just outside of Ottawa area. any luck with the GCMS ?

I applied for Citizenship on 9th, March 2020 and finally participated in Oath Ceremony on 14th December, 2021. I haven't received the Citizenship Certificate Yet. Has any one who took oath around 2nd week of December, 2021 has received the Certificate in Toronto region?

Congrats!! My oath was also on the 14th. I really hope I get my certificate this week, but we'll see...

good morning everyone, so I had my oath on 14th Dec (in Calgary) and have received the certificate in mailbox yesterday (4th Jan 2022) so finally almost after a 2 year of an amazing journey it's finally hitting a shore. Hi all, I just checked the mail, and I finally received my certificate of citizenship! It took 3 weeks and a day, despite my requests to have it expedited. Oh well. Now to see if I can manage to get a passport by Friday so I can make my flight this time.

Any Edmonton or Calgary March 2020 applicants still waiting. It's almost 2 years and we are still in process. I had reached out to my MP to help track my family's application and the response was practically the same as what i see on the tracker which was indeed not encouraging. It was mentioned by my MP that they are just too many people waiting for a decision to be made after testing has been completed. Hopefully Edmonton can move very soo! In addition, the status mentioned immigration verification hasn't been initiated for my spouse and I but is in process for my daughter, does anyone know what this stage entails?

Hi, I am March 2020 Ottawa Applicant as well, What do you mean by Application's current Status after contacting MP? Anything different than what we see in Application Tracker saying "In Progress"/Background Verification Completed?
