Hi , my Pr card is expiring in feb, but I need to have my card as I need to be able to travel abroad anytime.
I sent the application in September , and no AOR yet. I am worrying .
for citizenship app, I received AOR on 25 August, but no IP yet.
Any advise on how I make a request for urgent processing of my PR card?

It seems IPs are also random just like AORs. There are many Jan and Feb applicants waiting for their IPs.

I have got a transit stamp (Temporary Entry Stamp) in my passport from China while I was traveling to my origin country. The set of stamps (total 3) has some words in English and some in Chinese. The main thing is both entry and exit stamps have the same date and it is not clear which one belongs to entry and vice versa. I entered China and left on the very same day. It was a few hours of stay at the airport before boarding my connecting flight.

Earlier I was planning to get them translated after getting IP so that I could have them in-hand while going for the test. In current circumstances it is not clear when they will call for the test. But, for peace of mind, I would want to get things ready.

I would be grateful if someone can share the details of a certified and economic translator in and around Surrey, BC

Citizenship: Vancouver Expo will be reopening for citizenship knowledge re-testing and citizenship hearings for a select cohort of applicants. IRCC will schedule appointments by email. IRCC will contact clients to book appointments based on their file status, location in Canada and other factors. Client selection is largely based on the date of the client’s application.


Well, at a distant future, am sure citizenship tests will resume.
