I have filed my application from Halifax. Not a single friggin' progress since I took the test back in April! This process is super sluggish and non-transparent.

Its summer time , those free willys must be enjoying the ocean.

So, this was shocking to me but I already got a new invite to do my citizenship test! This time with the paragraph added that I can take the test abroad. I have emailed them right away that I will be taking it abroad and I'm just awaiting their response. My new dates are July 12 to August 1 and I received the invite on July 8. I will post an update once I've finished the test(and hopefully passed lol). Please update my row for now!

I have a better idea , get a CA passport cover from Canadian tire and roll it up on your current passport bam you're a Canadian .

As long as No IRCC is involved, things can happen within days. here.... Enjoy your Canadian passport.

Maybe if we all move to Brampton for a few months, our files would get sent to the one office in the country that seems to be working, and we could all be citizens this year!

I am already planning to move within two months , if my file does not move further.

I agree, seems like Brampton is the Vegas of Citizenship, who knew.....

Ok, i will order Passport(cover) from amazon in Dec(technically oct2021 when the criminality expires) if no oath email.

Yes, this is normal for some applicants. Usually, test results are validated in a couple of days but some applicants see delays. Depends on the officer and the processing office.

Assume it'll take 3 - 5 months. You'll receive the email from the local office.

I have been waiting for oath since May 11th Saskatoon office. So far nothing but DM.
