Oh really?? Sige ill try nga to ff up my hubby's application. Kasi til now app received pa rin ang ecas. He sent his passport and appendix a since july 1 and we havent heard anything yet since then. I even emailed them asking if they received his documents but they i only got the automated message.

2.We started processing your application on June 18, 2015.
3.Medical results have been received.

They requested my FBI check on June 30th, 2015 and we sent them around July 11th, 2015. Anyone have any idea how much longer we'll be waiting? Good luck to everyone .

I assume your VO is Ottawa. They're taking 8-10 months to complete to whole process.

I got a notification today that my application was refused. They asked for my CSQ the last week of May and gave me 30 days. I emailed and said I would send it when I got it, but that was unlikely to be soon as the MIDI was behind. I didn't hear anything from my email, so I called a few weeks later, and the agent assured me that all was well and they wouldn't take action at least another 30 days (true) and that MIDI would send the CSQ to CIC internally (not so true).

It's possible (even probable) that MIDI is just REALLY behind on sending things to CIC (it HAS been a month since I received it) and I did do what I thought was playing it safe and scanned and sent the CSQ to CPC-Ottawa via the Case Specific Enquiry form, but the agent I spoke to today said they have no record of that either (also plausible, since the enquiry form did say to expect a 30 day wait for a response.)

Anyway, I express-mailed a letter today explaining the situation with the original CSQ and all the emails I have sent back and forth with CIC asking them to re-open my case. I'll keep you all posted, here's to hoping I don't have to start all over.

If you could scan the CSQ why didn't you send it to them? Or did you get it after you got the refusal letter. Either way that's really unfortunate, anyone know if they will re-open a case? Was it possible for you to get the CSQ before you sent in your documents in the first place?

The agent acted like she would do it right then if she could find some proof that I had attempted to send it in, or communicated with them at all, but there was none. I did send the scanned version to them electronically, and figured they would ask for the paper one if they actually needed it, turns out no one even got it.

And no, for this PR process you can't apply for a CSQ until after you've got SA.

Ug, what a joke of a time limit, don't they know about the processing backup. There's got to be a way to get through to them, emails, calling, talk to MP. :-X How the heck are they so disorganised with some people's applications?

Yep, that's what I'll never be able to understand.
Thanks to MIDI, my application almost fell into the same hole as deweysmith.
They gave 30 days, the CSQ took 40 to arrive.
Since they know it'll take 25 BUSSINESS days, how the hell can they ask "within 30 days"? =S
