I never received an email about AOR But I called them n they gave me a file number.I entered the file number it says application was receieved on March n my file was open on April 15.. the file number that they gave me is it AOR??

If I dont get one in the next few days I'm gonna call aswell to see if I can get a file number. My application was recived March 13th but no AOR yet so I have a feeling Im not gonna get one. Not sure If I'm able to call CIC outside Canada though?

No AOR is "Acknowledgement of Receipt" usually by email or letter mail. Its just contact by CIC stating that they have received the application. Not everyone will receive the AOR.. Its really hit or miss in that case.

Having the file/application number means it is now in their system waiting for or is being processed.

Hi guys!!! Just wondering if anyone knows the address on where to send stuff to CIC. On the email I received with my AOR it has an address at the bottom but it has no number to go with the address. We need to send the fbi fingerprints

Congratulations for everyone here who gets positive news about his/her application. I am glad to see the trend is catching up with short time for processing for March Applicants which is good news for me coming from mid April. What worries me the most is that some have worries that they can not find their packages though delivery is confirmed with a signature and makes me think if that is possible and how come this could be specially knowing that a signature is great confirmation of receipt. I wish CIC is not having chaos inside with documents and papers. Either wise this is no good for some of us.

Took 2 days after I got my AOR on Friday to now be able to access my ECAS which is now, In the Sponsorship Column it reads so far..

1. We received your application to sponsor Mxxxxxxx Mxxxx Lxxxxxxx on March 9, 2015.

2. We started processing your application on April 16, 2015.

Here we go...

I was able to access ecas this morning as well!

Under the sponsorship column it says

We received your application to sponsor on March 16th

We began processing your application on April 17th

And under the sponsored applicat column it says

We received ------------ application for PR on March 16th

Medical results have been received

My familes meds and criminal check are submitted as well but not specified yet as received, but are there for sure

Yes, I used both the UCI and sponsors info. I hadn't been able to access it until this morning.

Since i'm the sponsor I put all my details in and yes I put UCI number in .
