Now 1 problem, My husband (principal applicant) had used the November 2014 - Genereic Application - IMM 008 ; And I just checked that they have updated a new February 2015 updated Generic Application form- IMM 008 !!! Now whats the best way to go about with this!

Nothing more.
They can:

1) Send your full application back to you
2) Ask for the updated form
3) Proceed with the process

I feel they will proceed with your submission as I didn't find difference between Nov and Feb versions, though my wife submitted Feb 15 version.

I think the difference between the 2 forms is the size of the font lol, other then that its like identical, should be fine, at worse as mentioned they will email ya for an updated form , good luck to you

I submitted my application yesterday, on lucky Friday the 13th. It's impossible to describe the feeling of relief to anyone who has not gone through this process. Between the endless editing, the constant re-checking, and the countless bits of anecdotal advice you pick up from others, you begin to go a little mad over the fine details. At a certain point, you have to just accept that you've put your best foot forward and get the damn thing out of your hands!

I'll gladly update the spreadsheet when I have a few moments.

It's hard to let it go but it's needed. Just like a child.
It took me 4 months to gather all documents together and send.

Thanks guys, I do have a photocopy of the form and you are right, there is absolutely no change (I checked point by point); hence am really hoping that they dont return it.

But yeah, the feeling of prepping this file for 3/4 months and then finally getting it organized and sending it off and then realizing this error, I was really upset!

Hopefully they reduce the no of days for the Mississauga office.. !! Good Luck everyone
