Either. but yeah, usually they communicate by email. The Decision Made (DM) is as good as approved application.:) Be positive, Atleast you know that your papers are in process already. at this point, within a week or so, you'll be receiving your SA letter.:) goodluck!

I have this feeling too. But you never know how they act.
Thanks for your kind words :D
Btw, just called the MIDI to ask about the status of the CSQ, and they confirmed it's in process and should be finished within 25 business days from the day they received the application.

That makes me worry about something is going wrong with my application and I'll be denied.

Why worry ? You're still in the 25 business day range. I think you'll receive it maximum by end of next week.

Well my wife called them twice today.
The first agent said we'll have to wait 6 to 7 weeks to have an answer.
My wife almost had a heart attack and called again an hour later and the agent, another one, told her to wait 2 to 3 weeks from today.
So I'm kinda worried :(

Just like the Federal sponsorship requirements, they can only deny you if you've been on social assistance recently or defaulted on a sponsorship before. It's really a formality when it comes to spouse sponsorship and the CSQ, essentially the "I want to integrate in a French society," and the "I want to learn French," parts. It's only a sticking point for students and workers who want to become PRs in Quebec. In those cases there are French language requirements (I know several students that have been told "come back when you can certify in French at X level") and such, but unless you falsified information or have had problems with social assistance or whatnot, then you don't have anything to worry about. :)

Thanks for your time to say this words, it's very kind of your part.
It's not my case, my wife is not on welfare and no information was falsified.
But why this will take 2 months+ for me if for everyone is 3 weeks? I can't really understand =(

Before it use to take 2 to 3 weeks to get the CSQ, but lately it's taking more time (5 to 6 weeks) for everyone not just you. Maybe with all the cuts in public budget, there are less people working on this.

Hmmm 5 to 6 you mean to receive it in hands or for them to send it by mail?
My concern is that my sponsor will change her address and... what should I do?
If she call, they will change her malling address? Or we don't have this option?
At least if they send it by CanadaPost we could use that resource that they have.
Sad...

Mrs. B i forgot to ask. In the email that they sent you, did they say 'don't send your passport'?

They didn't say "don't send your passport" but if it is required, It will be itemized specifically on the requested docs.:)
