I did my upfront medicals and my PP was using eMedical, which did upload results to CIC. After the exam I scanned the information sheet with the UMI (Unique Medical Identifier) & barcode they provided and sent it to the cpp-ottawa email. My medical was received in my eCASE after a few weeks.

hi, I got my MR last week, ill be booking a spot for medical sooner this week. Can somebody tell me what is the next procedure after that? do I have to then wait for passport request or what exactly would be the process after that.. thanks in advance..

Congrats Bro. The next step is RPRF. You will get notification from CIC to pay the fee and then passport request.

I am leaving my current job cuz I am not happy with my employer and do not want to work at that place anymore. Do I need to notify CIC about this? Also Is it gonna affect my application any way?

Help me out guys please

Yes you have to notify CIC if you quit your job and update your workplace.
Also remember to try to get Record of Employment and send them along your letter saying you quit the job.
I imagine it's not going to be a positive thing on your application but I don't know if it will have negative effects.
I'm actually leaving my job but I'm going to a different place with the same job title.

Upfront Medical, Upfront RPRF.
Hope I just get CoPR instead of medical request. ;D

I don't think it will be a problem as your lock in period for eligibility ends the day you submit your application. Your work history after that will not impact your eligibility decision. Even if you stop working, it will not impact.
There is no harm in letting CIC know about the switch but at the same time i guess there is no reason to tell them. So its up to you.
Having said all this - i am not an immigration expert .. all my knowledge is limited to what i have gained from this forum and CIC website. So please takes other's opinion as well.

You have to let cic know of your work status.
I saw this one guy get rejected because he didn't update his current workplace.
So it is not an option, a must. Just pointing it out so the guy doesn't think he doesn't have to let cic know.

Just received medical request today (Sep 18) which means medical result may still not being received as of now.

Just to let everyone know I think ecas is a little slow on being updated.

Cuz I did upfront medical in end of August, and my ecas still doesn't say medical received, just says application received. So don't worry people. Hopefully.

Can somebody add a note on my line of the spreadsheet that I did "upfront RPRF", thanks.
