Today morning i called CIC and asked for the status of my file. He did not mention anything about second review or anything but he said my file is in process and right now background check is going on .

I don't know what that's mean?

Please help me out with this. Is background check is last step and I passed eligibility or not?

Hi my husband and I we were silent reader of this forum. My husband who is the primary applicant under got ready for visa email today afternoon. Our application was delayed becoz second review required due date was on April 16th reason for second review was duties mentioned in the employment letter generic. We called cic twice and tdy finally got good news.... All the best to all who are waiting hang on maybe lil bit more. Our time line
Application sent: 28th March
AOR: 16th April
Upfront medical: 21 st Nov
Upfront RRPF: March 23rd
Status changed to in process since 15th May: 21st May
