for those who just recieved medicals is your application still showing in process or application recaived?

Mine is still showing application recieved and havent heard anything with regards to medicals.

Congrats! This is perfectly normal, and you should receive your MR very soon

Depends if you specified your email address on generic application form. How did you get your AOR, by email?

Congrats to you guys that have recieved MR's....hoping mine arrives soon.


Have a couple of questions if anyone can offer some answers for me.

1 - My application is being processed in Sydney Australia, does offshore processing have
any impact on processing times?

2 - I was in canada for 4 years, i accidentally worked 10 days past my whp visa expiary date,
thought it ended on the 15th may, but atually ended on the 5th may, will this have a negative impact
on my pr app?

3 - I left canada on 2 june, so was actually in the country almost 30 days past my visa expiry date.
As i am from a visa exempt country (australia)my understanding was i automatically went onto a visitor
visa, but as ive started to research since being home i think i may have got that wrong and appears i should
have applied online for a visitor visa.

Does anyone know the rules around this and also what impact it may have on my pr app?

If you applied for CEC, your application is not being processed in Australia - there is no offshore processing for CEC - it is all done in Ottawa

Congrats! Biodata and RPRF requests are sometimes coupled with PPR in a single email or a couple of emails sent very close to each other. My suggestion to you would be to get your medicals done and patiently wait for the next steps. You are almost there my friend...

i got it in similar way. Got rprf/biodata email in the morning and MR in the afternoon. Sit tight n wait !

How do you know your case is in Sydney Australia?

Was just assuming as im in australia currently it would be sent here to sydney, just read another
thread also noting that all cec apps go to ottowa though...so i guess thats good!


Anyone have any knowledge around the overstay....if that will have any impact on my app?
