hi folks , just saw that some jan and feb applicants got thier MR( looks like the ones who had their ECAS as App Received), march folks if there is any movement at your end ,specifically the ones who have APP Received status do keep us posted , thanks and happy long weekend

I am really happy for everyone who got their Medical requests.. I am just curious to know whats going on with candidates whose application is still showing up as 'Application Recieved'? I am really worried.

They are in the queue like everybody else's, personally I applied in March and didn't expect MR until December if everything went smoothly - if it comes before then I'll be ecstatic.

There are still a number of dec, jan and feb applicants.
As a January applicant I was also hoping for MR prior to Christmas - if before then I will also be ecstatic!

Indeed, we are months away from it being time for March applicants to be worried if they haven't heard anything.

I am not sure if you guys are aware that all in process applicants from jan , feb , march and some of april have got MR, In addition few app received applicants from jan and feb have got their MR, thats one of the reasons i thought its good to check if we see any movements with march app received applicants

Cic has certain criteria for priority processing. If you applied in march and have already got MR, my guess is that cic has identified you as a valuable asset to Canada and that your application should be processed faster. The factor may be country of ciTizenship or noc or some hidden parameter combination that public does not know. There will always be some applicants from each month who get their mr earlier than others. As per an official spreadsheet from cic (data.gc.ca), there were close to 2700 cec applications submitted in the first quarter of 2013. We're only a handful of those registered in the forum - nobody knows the big picture. However, it is definitely true that end of the strike has really made a difference.

We are, lpc19800 even mentioned in their post, but we're responding to bold9k who said "I am really worried" because their status is "Application Received" and they haven't heard anything yet. As I said, no point worrying yet.

Just to confirm that's all "in process" march 2013 apps received MR expect for srionline117. However, chances are he has received it but hasn't yet updated us!

I have not receive the MR yet. my application received on 7 march 2013 and it is still says application received.

On Oct 04, 2013 I received an email from CIC requesting passport copies. I checked e-CAS the same day and it showed "Decision Made".

So... just hang in there.
