hi im new here, i will be joining this thread as soon as my husband submit our application..hopefully very soon..i will be doing some updates

hi.. my husband sent in our application last week but we have some questions-- for the form (sponsored wife) i put in married and used my married name -- but in my Passport, NBI, and Police clearance i used my maiden name -- is this alright? Also, I found a blog that says I will need to get the Advisory of Marriage from NSO -- is this correct? And will our marriage certificate (original copy given by the Pastor to us) be enough as supporting document for proof of relationship/marriage? Or do I need our NSO authenticated marriage certificate?

Any idea what the difference between Advisory of Marriage and the marriage certificate is?

also, after my husband mails the application to CPC- Mississauga --- is there anything I need to do on my end ordo I just wait for a feedback? Sorry I am really very confused and clueless about the whole process...

You need NSO certified Marriage Contract printed on NSO paper. This one delayed our application since we had to wait until NSO release a copy of ours. Advisory on Marriage is also different, you can request it at NSO office as well. AOM is like cenomar, but for married individuals.

Are you newly married?

For now, since you submitted your application already, there's not much you can do until you get a sponsorship approval (SA). If i were you, request the stuff you need from NSO asap, for newly weds it takes a while until you get your marriage certificate, well unless you know someone from there *you know what i mean*

Yes we just got married January 15, 2013 on my birthday ^_^ hmmm naku I heard it will take around 3 to 6 months for our NSO marriage certificate to be available does this mean isosoli sa amin yung application namin? wala kami kilala taga NSO eh... so bale hintayin na lang namin feedback tapos supply namin yung mga missing requirements like NSO marriage contract?..

Also... sa forms, ginamit ko na married name (for the spousal visa application) pero yung passport, NBI, and police clearance ko eh nasa maiden name ko pa -- will this be alright or will these cause some problems?...

sa inyo ba nag change muna kayo ng status (locally) before starting your visa application...?...

Yea, we waited for 4 months before our MC got released i know it's such a long wait but we made sure we have it before applying just to make sure. I don't think they will return you package, I heard people got it requested during the PPR(passport request), so pwede sabay sabay na nila hingin sayo yung mga kulang mo na docs.

Yung sa name, it doesn't really matter if you use your maiden name. Mas ok sana kung ginawa mo nalang consistent like using your maiden name all through out. Anyway, hopefully it will all work out fine

what you should've done is to do early endorsement on your marriage cert so you will have it in a month..3 days before the wedding i paid for it, yun kasi advised ng tga church..
as for the Advisory on marriage, yung cenomar request form i-fill up mo, indicate mo lng na advisory on marriage kukunin mo..but im not sure if you will get your AOM without MC yet.

Sis DSWifey... kami ba mageendorse ng marriage contract namin sa city civil registrar after the wedding? kasi sabi ng pastor na nagkasal sa amin sya na daw magsusubmit nun --- wala kasi nag advise sa amin about early endorsement eh.. and para ano po yung bayad and magkano naman po?

kinakabahan ako baka hintay ako ng hintay yun pala hindi na-endorse yung marriage contract namin... eh sa kasal na mismo namin pinirmahan kasi yung contract -- after ba noon eh isusubmit pa namin ang signed contract and if yes, saan?

i think sis, will be too late na to do early endorsement kasi nasubmit na yan ng pastor niyo kasi hindi naman pwede di nila i-submit agad ang MC, Php200 o 300 ata yun payment..wait ka na lang talaga till makuha mo NSO copy, inquire-inquire ka na lng sa NSO malay mo in 3 months time or earlier than that makuha mo na..

hello all i got married to PR holder of Canada on 30th November 2012 and i read all about spouse things on site of Canada and prepared my file and send it to my husband in Canada on 5th march 2013 he wil receive it by 15th March 2013 and we wil apply for it by this month's end my fingers are crossed as i m eagerly waiting for visas but want to knw how long wil delhi embassy take after my file transfers to delhi if the file is smooth enough and ur case is genuine??? Please guide me... m from india so my file wil be transfered to NEW DELHI

Please I need your help guys.
How did you organize your application before sending it?
All my pictures like wedding and reception photos, old and new photos and our conversation, i attached them with the Form 5490 (spouse questionaire). Do i need to provide another photos, or any additional details as proof of our relationship? Coz i dont have any idea what else i need to be added. Thank you. Please.
