Houston, the eagle has LANDED!!! My wife officially landed in Canada today! Couldn't be happier!! Thanks to all for your excellent help anytime I had a question, so appreciated.

And for those still on the journey, I wish you well, that your loved ones will soon be able to land!!
 
Question:

If I moved cities will it delay the immigrations process to bring my wife to Canada? Our file is in Ottawa (still waiting on COPR) and I'm looking at moving there for a great job opportunity. Literally blocks over form the Ottawa processing centre. I would appreciate any insight on this.

Chickie, surely you're right around the corner, I definitely hope so. You've been in this process far too long, I'll celebrate with you when you get word.

I'll just mention that I'm also thrilled because our firstborn is due 3 weeks from today, on Christmas Day, so it's so good to know the PR process is done!
 
Just want to add here, it sure is good to see movement on the March files, but I hope CIC soon settles those who've been left behind in January and February. It's gotta be tough on them to watch those who applied after they did getting their approvals. All the best you folk from January and February, I sure do hope you receive good news very soon!

Congratulations!

I could have sworn I posted an answer to this, but I don't see it.

They only require that the CIC copy of the COPR have a picture on it. So if it has one, you're fine.

awwww that is nice of you to say.....i truly hope you pop back in every now again to see us and especially tell us the info when you baby is born......i want to hear all about it.

Yes this process is long but Rome wasn't built in a day and I sit and wait patiently....i know my day will come soon! Am just happy to see everyone elses process too.......we all started this together so it is good to see everyone else go thru!

Congrats again on the landing and your baby and make sure you come back with an update!

Drat! I did it on the LA sheet but knew I was forgetting something haha! I wrote it on a sticky to do it when I get home :)

But yeah the flights are getting pricier by the day in december...cost us 400 euros for one-way flight to Canada!
The same goes upto 700 euros as the holidays approach! what a ripoff lol.
