March 2012 applicants, join here! : )

Got my letter sent out on the 27th to know if I've been approved to sponsor! (App dated March 19, 2012) I'm nervous because I'm a poor unemployed student and didn't have my 2011 tax return when I mailed it in.... hopefully it's good news anyway!!! Fingers crossed.

Although I'm with my husband in the US until the middle of July so we won't know until then- think they'd tell me the information over the phone if I called? :\

Mine too. You would think they could have just emailed us. But it's good news so hurry up mail.
 
Y do they email some approvals and then mail some? Does this mean those mailed are unapproved or that we should just wait a little longer to get excited?

I know how u feel sometimes I feel like that too but keep some hope.. We'll know soon.
 
Just checked my ECAS. It says decision made and letter sent on 27th. YYeeeyyyyy :D
Still nothing in mail but hopefully will have the letter in my hand.
Question- So if decision is made on 27th does that mean my file is transferred to my VO on 27th?
 
No mail never means unapproved. I think it just depends from agent to agent.

Mine says the same. It looks like the approvals now are by mail and your application will be transferred to the go same time.

I'm liking the progress :D today I've seen people from March 20th-28th getting AOR's :D
keep them coming.... :D

Hi,cong. I would want to know can u check online or can u login on CIC website by using your receipt number before your have received your approve emial or letter ? I send our application on midlle of March , but nothing can check and nothing have receive? :(
 
We got APPROVAL!!!!!! yeheeeeyyyyyyy!!!!! The letter was June 28. I'm soooooo happpy!!! Wishing the best to all those who are still patiently waiting! God bless!!! :D
