I mentioned the dash because this is the way it's written on the PR card, just to help with finding the number there. But with or without, it's not working for me either. Still, if it was working, it could say Application received or something like that. Not good enough :(
Oh ok. well you barely submitted your application so it will be awhile.

Yeah, unfortunately more like 2.5 months if they don't get even slower than this! I really hope to see the processing time getting faster! Needless to say, I am counting days! I should stop doing that :D

Oh I hope so, KJG! I totally hear you on this counting days thing: we totally do the same! I can't wait till this period is behind us, and I can think in terms of normal life schedule once again!

It is a long wait. Best to distract yourself for awhile!

Ah yes...distractions...such as beer!! Even though my wife and I are only 3 months into the process, I've been living with her for 2 years...away from the snow, and skiing...40 degrees.....gettin the itch to return to the Great White North!!

Yes it will certainly be nice when my husband and I can go on a vacation together and not just me going to see him all the time since he can't leave Cuba. We tried obtaining an exit permit for him to go to my daughter's wedding in the Dominican and they turned us down flat :'(. So the day we can get on a plane together is going to be awesome!!!!

Won't it be the best moment ever? I cannot wait till we board the plane for Canada!

Yes...yes it will be and I can't wait....even thinking about it almost reduces me to tears and I am not a cryer by nature.

simb is right. I had to wait till I had 10 posts though.

BCgirl2012 is right . . . I don't have menu option 'forum profile information' under Modify Profile yet, I'll have to chime in more often from now on.

Well, as for distractions, I noticed in the last two weeks alone I'm exercising twice as much as before. Not sure if it's a co-incidence or my natural reaction to handle the stress of waiting! So far so good :D I hope it continues this way. But still I am counting days and that's not helpful.

We keep discussing and planning what we'll do when he gets his PR. :D But we have quite a few months to decide on this. We better come up with a good plan!

can't believe how others have the same exact feeling as me :( counting days since long time ago and for a long time to come ...

Hi Hogaishaadi!

My application was rec'd by CPC-M on March 15th. How did you get your reply from the Ottawa Office? Was it by email or letter in the mail?

as i posted earlier... here it is again...

for those of you who applied at cic-miss please note that due to overwhelming amount of files and falling behind they sent a batch of files to the ottawa pilot office (like mine)... i sent on mar 6th and they got it on mar 7th, and i got a reply from the ottawa office of approval and the information etc at the end of may... so those that have sent applications in feb and their files are still in miss office dont be disheartened, yours will be processed soon... nothing to be concerned about... wait and by end of june most of you will have already gotten your uci/file numbers... best of luck to all

Alright guys, here's what it says online now: Decision Made
And when I click on it: We sent you a letter on June 5, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

How hard is it for them to say they approved or rejected you application? :D They have to leave that 1% chance of rejecting your application for whatever missing documents you had in your mind to tease you.

Any comments on this? Or should I consider it approved and start jumping up and down?
