I wish everyone the best! 7 months 8days we had a complete file that was verified by a whole department at my lawyers office. We weren't missing any signatures waiting on medicals or FBI certificates. I believe that it was very beneficial in the long run and did not give us any delays. There is no logic in the order.. I mean we wait this long for 2 pieces of paper with pictures on it....the barcodes system makes it go faster...unfortunately...
In the last minute I redid the forms with the barcode!!

congrats to those who got decisions made, got PPR.

best of luck to those waiting for decisions. Hope we all can make it within 2012!
I think us Marchies really got pushed back due to the 90-days processing time earlier in the year @ CPC-M, we lost 3 months just in waiting
for mississauga office to open files..........and these days its about a month!
Don;t we feel ripped off or something eh. People applied after us are hearing in 1 month time!

Oh well, at least the VO didn't take that long to process it.

Instead of this very obvious unjustice and CPP-Ottawa helping in stage I ! CPP-Ottawa should work on its original tasks including stage II

Simb....they don't usually tell you why they request an interview...they just request one.....the questions above were the ones I gave my husband before his interview and I can tell you most of them were used...it is a very good list....obviously some of them are not applicable because we did not co-habitate but the majority of them are used........they usually ask for further proof of the relationship being continued and to bring your passport.....good luck!!!!

Me and my husband got married in April 2011 and we applied for a visit visa which was , unfortunately ,
rejected . Now we have applied for my spousal immigration in July and got my UCI number in October . Now when I check my online status it doesn't show any results !
I need to know why is that ?

yea. a person cannot tell why they want interview. my interview letter states i need to bring my passport, sponsor's proof of residency (not DL or Healthcard), birth certificate, marriage certificate, proof of the continuation of the marriage while being long distance
what could be proof of residency apart from DL or Healthcard ? sponsor's passport ? what else? what proof should i give for our genuine marriage? apart from photos, phone bills, joint bank accounts ? any other proof?

You pretty much covered it. Anything from the time you applied until the time of interview. As for proof of residency, a lease might be one, if applicable. It shows they live there. Or a letter from the landlord (or parents, if living with them) saying they live there could also be something. I would think the passport would show the residency thing though.

hmmm. yea
even i was thinking about the property papers. even the utility bills.
as far as the proof of relationship is concerned i want as much proofs i can show them so that they cant even question me..lol
if you have any other thing in your mind about the genuine relationship proof . do let me know so that i can have that thing as well. (i dont want any risk ::) )
