Each month has it's own list, there is also different list by VO, The march list is for march applicants, you also have the November 2011 list, and I am on the Outland buffalo spreadsheet. This does not mean you cannot still post in different months. But the lists are like timelines.

February 3rd is as far as they have gone so far. I cannot really help you concerning the OPP but you ask that question on the spousal sponsorship page it's pinned at the top of in the family sponsorship category...there veterans can help you out!! Hope they will be at mid-february by the end of this week...but this of course is wishful thinking!

They passed Feb 3rd already? Whoot! (That day will forever be in my brain, day I broke my foot haha) I'm getting excited for March now! :D
 
When i check the October 2011 applications, only 18% of the applications left without sponsorship approval within 3 months. Others got within Jan 2012.

In the case of Jan 2012 applicants, only 16% of them left without response after 3 moths (by end of April 2012).
Break down, of Jan applications
Approval in Feb & March 42%
Approval in April 42%
Pending 16% (I guess that 16% is contributed mainly by the users who are not updating their status properly to the forum.... )


So we can expect....around 40% of us will get the approval in May and rest in June.... :) :)

It is hard to logic what is going on however by all standards processing times have increased dramatically. Also, the very inefficient CIC performance from maintaining the site, to agent responses, to .... etc.
 
My application was rec'd on March 15th. Can anyone guess when I would have my application transferred to VO in Islamabad.
 
My best guess is this:

February applications will be processed in the month of May.

March applications in the month of June.

April applications in the month of July.

So if you submitted yours in the middle of March, you should expect to hear something from CIC-M by the middle of June (maybe earlier depending on the workload or if they shift yours to Ottawa for processing).

Then once you have your sponsorship approved, expect about 2-3 weeks for your file to reach the VO. After that, it's really up in the air...if you have a really strong case, could be super fast...but it also depends on how busy your VO is...

Just be patient...it will all work itself out in due time...

I'm hoping they'll go a little faster haha. Mine was submitted early March (They Rec'd March 8th) So we'll see! I'm annoyed at how long it's taking but *deep breaths* I'm good. :p

Slow, another thing I'm annoyed about haha. But I'm walking a little, only 50% of my weight on my foot. My dogs don't like the fact I have to do some standing/walking exercises in front of their bed. Oh well! Right now one is sleeping on the couch and the other on the bed with me. :P And their daddy(my husband) is asleep still haha.

I was hoping that too however the budget cuts are so extreme..there are no tissue papers...it was reported some of CIC employees are wiping their a?? with application papers...check Jan. thread

Hope you feel better too I would kill to get a break right now!! I leave the house at 8am and get back 11 pm Work and school craziness....hopefully by then we will have approval!

I am also waiting for my AOR OR Sponsor approval. I have been frustrated since i heard that they are taking 82 days now. I have sent my file on march 5,2012, they have received on March 7,2012. I hope everything going fast as we think. Cgagnon, i would like to request you please add me in your spreadsheet.
